Coach Friedman is in his third year as the Charger's assistant coach. He is a 2001 Graduate of Marshall High School in Falls Church, VA. In high school, he compiled a 131-30 career record while wrestling for coach Phil Cronin. He has 11 tournament championships including 2 district titles. In 2000, he placed 6th in the state at 119 lbs. He was a 4-time member of the Virginia National team, competing in both Freestyle and Greco-roman styles. After high school, he attended Virginia Tech where he wrestled for one season. He is currently teaching 10th and 12th grade English at Chantilly. Coach Friedman is also heavily involved with the Concorde Mat Club and the CAWL team for CYA Wrestling.
